France releases a documentary on Khadim Rizvi to fuel the riots.

The situation in Pakistan is becoming the worst day by day due to the violent protests by the banned Political party TLP (Tahreek-e-Labaik Pakistan) and aggressive response from the police and security agencies.

All this started when TLP, a right-wing political party, asked the government to kick off France’s ambassador after the blasphemous comments from French President Macron. TLP gave a deadline of 20th April. The government arrested the newly appointed chief of TLP which resulted in nationwide Anti-France protests.

France called its citizens back from Pakistan. After refusal, France used another technique to fuel the riots and increase conflicts and distress within the county. French media, in co-operation with an American-Pakistani film-maker and Denmark musician, accused the late Pakistani politician Khadim Hussain Rizvi of exploiting the blasphemy law for political benefits.

The documentary has been submitted for One World Media awards 2021. OWM will announce the winner on 17th June 2021.
