Just In: Police released TLP chief Saad Hussain Rizvi

Just In: On government’s orders, Police has released Tahreek-e-Labaik Pakistan’s chief Saad Hussain Rizvi. The response came after the successful negotiations of TLP leaders with the government. Pakistan Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed had revealed that they are in contact with TLP and other parties for a peaceful solution.

The government has not confirmed the news yet and neither the Saad Hussain Rizvi has come to light but a spokesperson has revealed the news of Saad Rizvi’s release from custody. On the other hand, the government has brought the decision of expelling the French ambassador in Parliament. The parliament will decide whether they should expel France’s ambassador or not.

The chief of Tahreek-e-Labaik Pakistan was arrested last week, just a few days before ending the deadline of kicking off the French ambassador. Almost one hundred people were killed in protests and riots. 6 police officers lost their lives and many got injured. The government banned the political party and blacklisted Saad Rizvi. Many social media users were arrested by FIA and CTD for supporting the TLP. Student activist ‘Shaheer Sialvi‘ is still in police custody.
